The Wharton County District Attorney’s Office is seeking to fill an assistant district attorney position, following former ADA Bryan Honeycutt’s departure on Friday, Nov. 20.
Honeycutt served as ADA since February 2019.
Wharton County District Attorney Dawn Allison praised Honeycutt for his dedication to the county.
“Honeycutt was passionate about serving the victims and community of Wharton County,” Allison told The County Gin. “He worked long hours and was always to willing to go the extra mile.”
Allison spoke to Honeycutt’s spirit while in the office, noting, “Before Honeycutt would leave the office for court, whether it was for a hearing or trial, he would always ask, ‘What time is it?’ Which we all knew the answer, ‘It’s go time.'”
The office wishes Honeycutt luck as he gets ready to start the next chapter in his life and career.
