Hundreds gathered on the Wharton County Courthouse lawn for a community-wide prayer event on the afternoon of Sunday, June 7. Local officials, preachers, pastors, singers and community members led the crowd in prayer, songs of worship, speeches, performances and concluded the event with a march around Wharton’s downtown historical square.
